The people that put their lives on the line daily for all of us are sometimes left wondering how to handle the trauma they see daily. One suicide is one too many, one life lost not only takes a hero away from our community, but it leaves a massive path of destruction behind it.
Wrestling 4 Life has developed a set of LifeCoins- a weighted coin with contact information for SafeCall, a line specially trained to help law enforcement and firefighters in times of crisis.
Stacked Consignment is hosting this event, Protect the Protectors, with the goal of funding a LifeCoin for every one of our Shakopee Police Officers and Firefighters.
Armed with a crisis contact, we can help our local heroes have access to the support and information that they need before, during or after a traumatic situation.
We don't want to see another spouse, parent or child lose their loved one this way.
