3rd Annual Pathways of Shakopee History Fundraiser

The Shakopee Heritage Society's Third Annual Pathways of Shakopee History Fundraiser and Auction is set for Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019 at Turtle’s 1890 Social Centre, 112 S. Lewis St.

The purpose of this event, which includes both silent and live auctions, is to raise funds for enhancements to Memorial Park on County Highway 101 and then, downtown Shakopee. Additions include historic signage, trail extensions, a kiosk and education areas, all celebrating Shakopee’s rich history.

There will be a special presentation by renowned historical artist, David Geister. David will talk about his process of creating paintings of the Pond and Faribault families for the project.
