Rhythm on the Rails is a FREE five week outdoor, concert series taking place every Wednesday night from 6-9 pm right on Lewis Street in Downtown Shakopee. The series starts July 18 and runs through August 15, 2018. Rhythm on the Rails will feature live music, family fun, food/brew vendors, and much more!
The evening will kick off with local acts, followed by regional headliners that everyone knows and loves. Attendees will have the option to purchase food and drink tickets at the front gate, enjoy a free kids zone with inflatables and face-painting, and experience Downtown Shakopee while listening to live music all night long.

July 18 | The Suburbs
Considered the original heroes from "Minneapolis Sound". Played in the era of bands like The Suicide Commandos, Prince, The Replacements and more. Recently coming off a new album "Hey Muse" which is gathering a deserving buzz. One of the bands to look for to provide high entertainment and great music.
July 25 | Gear Daddies
One of the most resilient and influential Americana/Rock bands to come out of the Twin Cities. They have headlined many events from the David Letterman Show to Austin Texas South X Southwest Musical festival. They are reaching back to the greatest fans in the world to entertain many of their loyal and devoted fans.
August 1 | The 4 on the Floor
"This is Rock'n'Roll in the 21st century". They are bringing the high energy and energetic performance back to their roots of Minnesota. Sing-a-long anthems, guitar solos and full blown rock'n'roll.
August 8 | G.B. Leighton

August 15 | Chase & Ovation: Prince Tribute Band
Chase and Ovation is dedicated to showcasing Prince's music around the world. Prince himself has always let this band perform his music even though he has always been so protecting over his art. Prince allowed them to travel the world and perform in Tribute and Reverence to his music. Come out and let us always remember to celebrate Love... Life... and the music of Prince!
